Smell the Salty air!

I was lucky enough to spend part of my childhood on Vancouver Island. On weekends, we would visit the beach, and I would flip rocks looking for little crabs to put in my sand bucket. The tidal pools held wonders! Starfish, shellfish, and real live fish like Sculpins.

I love the West Coast of Vancouver Island, the West Coast Trail, and the Juan de Fuca Trail. And the Inlets of the North coast of the mainland, where the really big Grizzlies share their world with Orcas and Humpbacks, and salmon.
